Hi,
Can someone list out the pros and cons of JAXB and Castor.
Since JAXB spec is still a public draft is it wise to use it. On the other side Castor is not a standard.
Thanks in adv.

For one thing, JAXB is likely to move into the standard Sun XML library. I have not played with Castor so I can't compare the capabilities - in my experiments with JAXB it was fast and was much more compact in memory than DOM.

Hi,
Can I use it in production environment even though it is not final version.

Sun just redid the JAXB pages a few days ago - see JAXB at java.sun.com
It looks to me like it is close to a final configuration, so I would say go with it.

Can any body explain which & why?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
