Hi All,
Pls. provide me the links for on line material for XML parsing with DOM and SAX. Also i want to know that JAXP parses the XML document or acts as a supporter , i tried from my book but all in vain(Java SErver Programming).

Pls. help me out.

I am a beginner.

There are PLENTY of tutorials on the web for XML processing with Java.
You might as well start with this one at Sun.
If you have the Java 1.4 or 1.5 SDK, you already have the parsers and support classes you need to learn about parsing with SAX and DOM.

Actually IMO, most of the DOM Implementations are using SAX in the background to create the tree. So my advice, if you 'd enjoy having the full control over the parsing process go with SAX
