I want to write the data from DaseBase into XML format and then write it into a file. Do you know how to get an EXample of doing this kind of things. many thanks.

Hi Grace,
You might want to use XSL to format your XML based on Database content, a good place to start would be "IBM Developer works".

This tutorial has also got relevant code samples.
