how can i configure tomcat to handle xml and xhtml pages? mod_jk2 tomcat 5.5 apache 2.0 win32

Since Tomcat (like all servlet and JSP engines) makes extensive use of XML, any Tomcat installation will already have XML libraries installed.
Creating XHTML is the problem of the programmer, not tomcat.
Be more specific about what you mean by "handle xml."
