Hi,

I want to build a tool that reads an XSD and generates a confirming instance XML.

Is there any Java API available that can help me do this? Are there any tools available for the same?

Ummm.....not sure where you are going with this - an assignment? a project? or just a self learning project....I don't know. but there are commercial tools already to stuff like this. One that I can mention is xMLSpy.
