Hi,

Can anyone guide me with the steps to implement LDAP in a application. The client has already the LDAP set up. We need to use it for the authentication.

Thanks in Advance

Thanks for the alert. Though the name was short it is the real nick name. My friends used know by this name. Hence thought it will be useful. Respecting your forum policies I have changed that.

Thanks

ok firstly if you want you use LDAP in your application, get the SDK either from Sun / Novell .... / MS / OpenLDAP. SDK is generally available in multiple platforms and languages. LDAP is used for more than authentication now a days, can also be used as the configuration store ... etc.

Not sure if this answered your Q?
