A question to anyone familiar with the topic,
I have a class that uses the JCE to encrypt and decrypt a file. This works OK.
http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Security/AES/AES_v1.html And today I stumbled upon The Legion Of Bouncy Castle:
http://www.bouncycastle.org/java.html Question is, how good are their implementation as compared to JCE ? page states that they are:
- A lightweight cryptography API.
- A provider for the
Java Cryptography Extension and the Java Cryptography Architecture.
- A clean room implementation of the JCE 1.2.1.
Has anyone tried using these ? reviews / comments / opinions ?
