I have finally cleared SCBCD after two months of preparation (about 1 hour a day). I had no previous experience with EJB 3 (although used 2.1 before). I have used mainly Pro EJB: Java Persistence API book (very, very good) + Enterprise Java Beans 5th edition from o'Reilly. Those two books are in my opinion sufficient to pass the exam. I have also used test engine from Enthuware. It is good enough, although I think there are couple of errors in some questions.
The exam was not actually very hard. In fact I think that it was much easier than SCWCD, e.g. I had no stupid questions about descriptors schema etc.

Good luck guys
