Hi,
I passed DB2 9 Fundamentals exam today with 71%. The exam is pretty easy and i found that reading DB2 9 Certification Tutorial available from IBM is more than enough to pass the exam with a very good score. I spent one full day to go thru the tutorial and thats the only preparation I did. 90 minutes time for the exam is enough to complete the exam and review it once. I have some experience working with the DB2 in the past but it doesn't pay off much because the DB2 tools like Configuration Assistant and Control Center don't give much idea about SQL command to be used to connecting to instance/database, creating table directly, create database, etc. My advice to people preparing for the exam: Read the IBM tutorial ( there are 7 parts in the tutorial) and try out all the examples using Command Editor/CLP.
thanks
