From the reference material listed on the Sun's SCEA 5 beta exam page, there are 2 main references for Core J2EE patterns

http://www.corej2eepatterns.com and http://java.sun.com/blueprints/corej2eepatterns/

There are a few more patterns listed on the corej2eepatterns.com as compared to the sun's site. Also, reading the patterns a little closely, there is some subtle difference between the descriptions/advantages/disadvantages of the patterns between these 2 websites.

Any idea which of these websites is the "official" version for the exam? The corej2eepatterns website looks to be a newer version..

I'm sticking with sun's pattern catalog and the descriptions there...

Hi Chris!

Sun's resources list also says: Core J2EE Patterns: Best Practices and Design Strategies (2nd Edition), so I'd rather go for this page: http://www.corej2eepatterns.com/Patterns2ndEd/index.htm
