ALL:

1. I recently passed the SCBCD exam with a VERY DECENT Score.

MATERIALS USED

a) HeadFirst EJB. -> DO Not Depend Entirely on this ... It may prove to be distracting.
b) Mastering Enterprise Java Beans -> (Roman)(Background Reading)
c) Spec for EJB -> (strictly For Reference).

NOW PAY ATTENTION ...

d) Tutorial developed by:
Pradeep Chopra, Cofounder, WHIZlabs Software
Seema Manivannan, Java developer and trainer, Whizlabs

I obtained this tutorial for FREE by registering @ http://www.ibm.com/us/
and following the Tutorial Links Until I reached the Link entitled:
"Java certification success, Part3:SCBCD"

This is an EXCELLENT Tutorial, and specifically focuses on Exam Objectives.
This is not a plug for anyone ... But credit must be rendered when Due.

2. Items a,b, and c are good for developing background knowledge ... which is a goal for every Software Professional. Item d, will Prepare you for the Exam.

3. Time Spent In Preparation: Studied Off and On for 9 Months. I got serious for about three weeks with the tutorial listed in (item d).

Good Luck to everyone on your exams Trials. As for me its onward to Sun Cert For Java Web Services.
