Hi,

HFEJB says,
1) container will call ejbActivate to bring out the bean from pool
2) Container will select the required data from DB
3) populate the bean & call ejbLoad()
4) call business method.....

How is it possible to access getPrimaryKey() & getEJB[Local]Object in ejbActivate method in entity bean ? when container had not even selected the required row from database ?

Micheal.

There is a topic named "Bean Things are confusing", started by me around 2 -3 months back. I am too lazy to search for it and give it as a URL link here. Can you try searching for it? It has answers to a lot of such questions
