Last couple of months I see people discussing more and more MS .Net technologies. java purists still deny interest and .Net reasons and validity for life, but that's their constitutional right. Why don't you create a separate subject/forum for VA.Net realted issues and discussions? Some might find it intresting. I understand, that MS used to be just a laughing-stock and forbidden expression here, but time's has changed, technologies evolving and people need to share their thoughts and ideas about different subjects(personally, I don't thing that XP or RUP mothodologies are JavaRanch worthyworth than .Net).
