Here is the case:
Both the Remote & Local Component Interfaces have the same finder method with same method signature.

How to specify Query for them in the DD?

you have <method-intf> element within <method> to specify values:
Remote, Local, Home, LocalHome

SCJA, SCJP5.0, SCBCD, SCWCD

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
