Hi,

check this link in Java forum
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=785808&start=15&tstart=0

There are approximately 180 questions in the exam and Testers have been given the 4-5 hours to complete.

For details of the exam type read this

SCBCD 1.3

Beta duration and number of questions only will be different.

Additional survey questions and tutorial may be there.

As for as the passing percentage is concerned I am not sure.It may differ.
But the exam type will be similar to Official SCBCD.I think overall the passing percentage will remain same 62-64 percentage.

The passing percentage will be determined based on the beta testers' performance.

Thus, no passing rate can be announced before the beta is concluded.

Yes, the higher target score you expected, the higher chance of passing that you can expect.

I guess 70% is the passing rate that almost ensure the pass.
