what are the available types of tags?? I heard some people saying there are 'Simple tag', 'Classic tag'... are there others?? where can I find more information?? thanks in advance.

Simple tags are the new tags that can be created with the additions to JSP 2.0. Simple tags are not reused as classic tags are. Classic tags are the tags created using the old JSP 1.2 classes/interfaces. As far as the classic tags go, there are some use of terminology to indicate what the tag does (e.g. iteration tag, body tag, etc.).
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
