Hello;

I have booked my exam for 3 weeks from now. The only reference I plan to use is Head First Servlets and JSP. I love this book. The whole series is really good.

I don't see a second edition, so I am wondering if the current edition is current with the exam. Anyone know.

I will be looking through the forum for good practice exam sites, if anyone wants to throw a couple my way it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Luke

Hi Luke,

I am also collecting some links on that.
Try this one:

About the book, I haven't read it, but I guess it supposed to be the most up to date book available. Well, you can compare the objective of the newest exam with the one mentioned in the book.

Best of luck!

Hi,

I've got the same book and it does cover all things you need to know for SCWCD 1.4 exam.
It is indeed a great book from a great series.

If you feel you need more information you might consider the SCWCD from manning. It is recently updated to the 1.4 exam standards.

Cheers,

Ron

Yes - it's current. It's also important to remember that this version of the SCWCD is not that old, so the current SCWCD is not scheduled to be updated for some time.

hth,

Bert
