Hi all!!

I had my exam on 30/11. I'm so happy to say that I've passed.

First of all I would like to thank all of you. Reading the questions and tips here has really helped me to pass.

To get prepared I just read the HFSJ (great book), read questions here and wrote my own notes. I tried to use notes written by someone else, but I believe that our own notes are the best because they reflect our own strengths and weaknesses.

In fact I believe that the real exam was a little bit easier than the books mock exam. This mock exam is really helpful.

What I can say about the test:

1)J2EE patterns questions were very simple.
2)My lowest score was at Standard Actions. And I thought I knew this subject!! The questions were complex.
3)This exam is easier than the SCJP. The questions are smaller and more direct to the point. The code portions are smaller too.

Thank you all again for helping me.

Jayne.

Jayne Congratulations!

You said that the questions on standard actions were complex. Then what is the best way to prepare for this? Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks

Well, what I realised is that my best results were in areas where I did a lot of real exercises using my computer. After reading and completing the exercises in the book, I used to try the examples (sometimes with some little changes) in my computer. And it really helped me to understand everything and to remember it later.
I didnt have time to practice Standard Actions, thats why my score in this subject was low.

Alex, now Im trying to find a job to work with JSPs and Servlets. And I plan to start studying EJBs soon.

I need to buy the HeadFirst_EJB!!
