NOBODY can be like Bear.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure we'll do our best, but those are some pretty big shoes to fill...

Agreed. There's only one Bear.

Thanks for the welcoming us.

By the way, I've noticed we might have a few cobwebs to dust around here. If anyone is willing to help fred and I do some cleaning up around here, we could use your help with the FAQs and links pages. Please let us know if you find any outdated info or broken links.

No broken link info, but in the SCWCD links page, that would be really nice to have separated tables for the 310-081 and the older 310-080. That may help to know which links refer to the older exam.
Thx

Hi,
SCWCD Mock Exam doesnt say that its version either 1.3 or 1.4? I think it is meant for 1.3 as I couldnt find any question regarding 1.4 there. Some ranchers who are preparing for SCWCD are taking that mock exam and getting ready. Its misleading. Hope you correct this. Either mention version number against mock exam or update the exam to 1.4. I think no one is taking 1.3 exam.
Hope you correct this.

Thanks for your help. I believe your recommendations are essentially the same. The 310-080 was 1.3, right?

I don't think any of 1.3 is obsolete (correct me if I'm wrong). So, I think it would be best to:
1) modernize the ranch's resources to include new 1.4 material and
2) make notes next to the appropriate external links denoting that they reference dated material (1.3/310-080)

This might take us a while, so we'll appreciate your patience through this. If you find anything else to add or remove please share your recommendations.

Marc,
I disagree with your first point "modernize the ranch's resources to include new 1.4 material". For 310-081(1.4) exam you cannot add the new question to the existing one. From the existing 1.3 exam lot of questions disappear/change in 1.4 as they are deprecated or totally changed..etc.. We have to leave 1.3 mock exam as it is for the ranchers who are taking 1.3 exam and mention the version there.. For 1.4 we need to create separate mock exam and we should not have to combine both exams questions. Either have separate link with separate questions for 1.4 or dont have at all.
For 1.4 mock exam link, we can have questions as it is from HFSJ book if Kathy and Bert agrees.
Thanks for reading comments and for taking actions.
