Hi,

I have bought Manning's book (2nd Edition) to study for SCWCD.
HFSJ is highly praised on this forum, and I wish I'd seen this forum earlier.
(I'll take the exam soon, so unfortunately I won't buy it)

I was wondering why there is no sample chapter for HFSJ and HFEJB at OReilly's homepage. There is one for the Design Patterns book, and I enjoyed reading it. I'm considering buying EJB's but I'd like to check the content first.
If Mr Bates could tell us why there is no downloadable sample chapter

PS : no, the downloadable 19 pages long index is not what I was looking for

Wow,

That's a great catch! I've started the ball rolling at O'Reilly to get some samples up there for the servlets book and the ejb book. The other three books DO have samples, so I'm not really sure what happened!

Thanks!
