Last paragraph p 258 says : have your attribute object class implement HttpSessionActivationListener and use the activation/passivation callback to work around it.

how does it help in taking care serialization of the objects.

thnx in advance

HFSJ clearly says that Container is resposible to move Serialized objects and takes care of it but it is not guaranteed to use serialization as means of moving.i.e programmer is be responsible for makins movable objects implement Serializable interface.

do i assume in that case that if the attribute is not serialized then it would not be moved. In case i still want to move the non-serialized attribute then how do i achieve it .

thnx in advance
