Hi Mani kanth,
Workout some sample programs and examples in your system for each topic you prepare and notedown some key points. This will help u to remember...

And also prepare a schedule for each chapter like 5 days to finish one chapter and so on...

Instead of reading known things repeatedly, concentrate reading more and doing examples on the subject where you are weak, like design patterns,el

I actually had the same problem. I even looked into the "Goldfish Syndrome" because of what I was experiencing. What helped me was a self imposed tightening of topics covered. What I did was I read HFSJ twice and Bridgewater once cover to cover (but HFSJ will do if that's all you have). After that, skim read. What that means to me is open the book to page 1 and once you know what the page objective is, go to the next one and stop on those areas that you are weak on. What I was finding was that by reading the book cover to cover, there would be long periods of time in between covering the topics that I needed help with. By skimming, I refreshed my memory on the topics I felt confident in and I was exposed to the weak topics more often. I also scheduled both my SCJP and my SCWCD on a Monday so that I could cram like crazy over the weekend.

Hi Mani,

Browse differnt sites and study the subject u r not confident. Challenge urself in the subject. Have clear picture of the subject.Slowly u will build confidence.

I was also little scared while preparing but once i gave and cleared HFSJ Mock I knew i will do it :-)

SJCP (95%)
SCWCD (75%)
SCBCD (Planning to take....)

Thanks,
Ganesh

Try reading some other books as well to get a different perspective. Based on your model tests, pick the area(s) you are weak on and concentrate more on those area(s).
