Hello everybody.
Today I have managed to pass the exam.
got 60/69+1 right.
I was surprised by the number of drag'n'drop questions ... plenty if you ask me.

Used HFSJ + Mikalai Zaikin's notes+ (for the last 3 days)Manning SCWCD1.4 kit.

I would like to thank to all the authors for their great books.

Got 71% in the HFSJ mock exam so for me it was just + 15% but I am happy.
I know I could have done better because to me this exam does not look as tricky as the SCJP1.4 exam(which I have passed with 90%) but then I had plenty of time to study and now I had to take some days off from for the exam final review .

Just have to mention that I was way too bored to study the specification .. and this made me do some educated guesses over some questions .. which I have probably failed. So from my PoW specification is not mandatory for study but it may proove useful .
As for coding experience. ... I had some 3 months on Web Components using Spring framework at work .. and a lot of personal experience (about 6 months) developing on my own an E-commerce site(a total disaster from the point of view of design patterns if you ask me now).
See you all on the SCBCD forum (next for me although it's pretty outdated)

Hello.
Thank you Bert.It is an honour for me to receive congratulations from you .I still remember the joke in the SCJP 1.4 exam book about another exam author who failed to take the full score on some questions and the hint you gave.

Really liked the style in HFSJ .. great way of teaching .. you & Kathy have started with this style of teaching even before Head First series and you really made learning fun. Hope you can release some more books .. maybe about some frameworks .. like Spring or Hibernate .

And yes Satou that would be the right thing to do.You are right but for now I still need some assistance with EJB's .
Besides as I was too lazy to read the specs I would not like to give bad advice to people who need help (as I was).
Sometimes little knowledge can be a dangerous thing .

Regards Mihai.
