And I didn't understand what this question means, I mean I have no clue...

Can you combine Tag files and TLDs for custom-tags in same directory?

I didn't understand the answer either...

If you are using tag files you don't have to create TLD file.Only you have to do is place tag file in WEB-INF/tags directory.

But if you create TLD for tag files (that means deployed using jar) then you cannot place tag files and TLD file in the same directory.

tag files must place in WEB-INF/tags directory and TLD(.tld) files must be in WEB-INF directory.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
