in here Person is a super class of empD's class (Employee exteds Person)

can we set the propery of "empD" that belogs to Employee but not to Person using <jsp:setProperty>

I think that you can, as the container will use reflection to retrieve the getter's name.

any others idea.

because in pure java we cant do this? I tried in here and it works without error..

Can senior person answer this why?
