Guys,

Is it or is it not mandatory that all servlet containers adhere to the directory structure specified by the specifications??

The directory naming convension (except for WEB-INF) can be different from Vendor to vendor.( refering to IBM WAS and Tomcat).

it has a directory sturcutre that shows three parts and which part of that structure is application specific , which is container specific nd which is servlet specific
