I had following in my web.xml

<jsp-property-group>
<url-pattern>*.jsp</url-pattern>
<scripting-invalid>true</scripting-invalid>
</jsp-property-group>
</jsp-config>

in my test.jsp file, I can still see my scriting is running without problem, why???

<%=3*7%>

=== I am uing Tomcat 5.

It works now! I can either modify my jsp file or delete * from that directory.
