Hi,

This is what I used,

For core Java part Head First Java 2nd Edition by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates, for UML related stuff UML distilled was recommended to me but I only read 10 page booklet on UML which you may find in this forum or at yahoo groups if you dont find let me know I will tell you name of group I guess Sun_Certified_Java_Associate (not sure so search in yahoo groups).

SunCert Manager recommended following also,
Reviewing this tutorial:
http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/docs/tutorial/doc/index.html
J2ME:
http://java.sun.com/j2me/docs/j2me-ds.pdf

http://www.sun.com/training/catalog/courses/WJTB-310.xml
Section 2.6 of this doc: http://java.sun.com/j2ee/j2ee-1_4-fr-spec.pdf

also do check http://www.sun.com/training/catalog/courses/CX-310-019.xml
they have mentioned SCJA related preparation stuff information.
hope this helps!

Can you provide a link for this UML booklet? I would like to be able to study from it, but I haven't been able to find it on Yahoo groups.

Thanks,

Layne

[Andrew: changed link to point to Dave's original page - please let him get the advertising for his book rather than just giving away his study notes]
