I decided to take this exam on my way to SCJP, which I plan to take in a couple of weeks. I read Cameron McKenzie's SCJA Certification Guide, and ran through his Mock Exam Questions book. I also read several Wikipedia articles on different pieces of J2EE and J2ME. I studied four days, mainly Saturday and Sunday.

The Prometric place was most unimpressive. The testing station was located in a company's back storage room. The printout I was given was unreadable because the printer needed a new toner cartridge. I have no idea what the two-page printout says, although the score is readable. I hope there isn't anything important on the printout.

I guess I will get something in the mail from Sun?

You should ask them print another printout .

Congratulations on your killer score! That's awesome.

I'm really glad that my books could play a small role in your success. Just hearing that made my day!

Don't get me started on Prometric. If that's the worst they threw at you, be grateful.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
