You know I was working the other night on the FBN system, and I am working on my last part, the actual booking test. When I tested the booking, and quit the client, the next time I started the client, it gave me an exception.
I saw previous posts regarding the RandomAccessFile class, and the same issues. So it seems to me that when I changed the file, I did not close the file when the client was done, and when I closed the server via CTRL-C.
So what are the possible solutions for shutdown?
I was thinking of making a simple screen pop up when you start the server, that displays the status of the server, and also a button for Shutdown.
Or is there a better solution?
Thanks
Mark

Well, I made the JFrame, and it was quick and simple, and shut's the server down nicely.
