I want to know apart from delimited records is there schema (Columns name) in data text file. If it is presend do I have to read the schema also ?.Or, I had to create a binary file only for writing instances (Hashtable or Vectors).

There is no data text file. The given db.db file is a binary file and it does contain the column names in it.
