java command in submission

Hello, I'm a little confused about what they want in the submission. I used RMI, and it seems all i need is the name of db file, the host name, and host port. What is the all other codebase, DNS server name business about? Thanks in advance.

It just gives you options of what you can have the assessor place on the command line
Actually if you have executable jars then command lines become less. If you are using SecurityManager, which you don't have to have, then you will need to include a policy file, if you don't have a jar you might need a codebase to point to the classes.
But it sounds like you won't need any of that, which I think is good.
