Hi, nobody seem to mention using assertions here, does anybody use that at all???

i found JUnit and the logging api to be sufficient.

SCJP 1.4, SCJD 1.4, SCBCD (Preparing!)

Assertions are fine. However, JUnit should not be, in any form, part of your final submission.
