Data.java and Transfer Object Design Pattern

The methods on Data.java defined on DB interface have some "dependent" arguments. Someone projected new methods with business representation of data like a TO rather than keep using that already provided ?

one more thing... as with the "abstract database schema", having a class with pre-defined fields sounds to be strange, but I think that would be fine to have a data representation class to be carried among application layers. Any idea ?
