Hi,
I wanted to ask if you can give me some advice in buying a good book for certification as java programmer and developer. I read that "Complete Java 2 Certification Study Guide" covers pretty much of the topics that are asked in the test.
Does anyone know if the new version (8 september 2000) of this book is better for the exam than the older one (1999)?
Could you give me an advice?
Thanks in advance
Cristin

hi,
i'm referring to thinking in java by buce eckel and khalid's A Programmer's guide to java certification. the earlier book is available to download at www.bruceeckel.com. both r great books.
also refer to advice from other postings as well.

I believe that a number of errors were fixed in the most recent version. For any study guide you should look up the errata at the publisher's web site.

(Naturally I recommend Java 2 Exam Cram - but then I'm biased)
