Mughal clearly states that the "Swing" and "Java Doc" chapters are not required for the exam.
Mughal has a chapters on "Painting" and one on "Applets". These are not listed by Sun as being within the scope of the test.
Do you know if it is OK to ignore the Painting and Applets chapters?
Thanks,
George

Painting was on the earlier (pre-Oct 2000) test. Applets are on the test to the extent that you need to know the default layout manager but not much beyond that.
