HashTable / HashMap..?

Hi,
Correct this concept..
HapshTable is Ordered Collection while HashMap is Unordered.
Am I correct? or both r Unordered??

both Hashtable and HashMap implement the Map interface and so these are not ordered .... it is the Sortedmap interface which stores an ordered collection and this interface extends the Map interface

The difference between the Hashtable and HashMap is that the Hashtable is synchronized (and therefore a little slower).

Also..
HashMaps allows null values and null keys where az Hashtable doesn't....
