Hi everybdy
i may nt be entirely correct but i guess this is the place to ask my q
I have to appear for SCJP after 38 dayz ,
Originally i am a C programmer , hav done few projects with C lang
but no experince with Java , except for 4-5 servlets i written in Java
have brought Khalid Mughal's book , and hav done its 4 chapters too
My plan for preparation is something like this ;
- First 15 dayz, khalid's book and some imp chapters of JLS 2nd ed ( hopefully complete )
- Next 10 dayz, Mock exams , Marcus Green's objective-wise notes,Velmurugan's notes along with hands on programming
- Next 7 dayz, more programming ,Maha Anna's discussion archives ,mock's exams and Khalid's book , wid lotz of javaranch
- Then revision of everything till doomsday
i hav almost all the time for myself , so i can put my hardwork
I am not very sure if my plan ll lead me to sucess , tho i hav enough faith to stick to it
I am a fresh comp science graduate , n have turned to SCJP coz was nt able to find a job
so i cant afford to re-take the exam in my dreams even , hav to do in first time only

If anybody out there can help me do some changes to my plan ,
which can make it more probable of success , then i will be really thankful !
plz do respond with any suggestion u have
thankx in advance
n good-luck to everyone preparing for SCJP

Hi,
Sounds like a determined individual.
Remember, where there is will ,there is way.
I am sure with sheer determination and hard work, you will definitely clear this exam.
>I am not very sure if my plan ll lead me to sucess, tho i hav enough faith to stick to it.
You are right faith will definitely do the magic.
Your study plan is right one,i believe. The only question is how much determination can you put.
All the best,
bye.
