Hi All,

I am working in a application which uses Myfaces + JSP . Since I have just joined the project , I am getting used to it.
I am assigned the task to convert this application to JSF 1.2(Sun RI) + Facelets .

What are the advantages of using JSF 1.2 instead of older JSF 1.0 and also Facelets instead of JSP . Is there any string reason one should migrate a stable application ?

Can the use of custom components be easier in Facelets with JSF 1.2 ?

Creating custom components is REALLY easy with facelets.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
