Hi,

I am new to WS part, I want to FTP files to a remote server using web service. Whenever a file is created a web service will be called to transfer the file to some remote location. Is it possible to transfer the files using FTP in the web service.

Or is it possible to pole a directory and whenever a new file is created web service automatically picks up the file and FTP it to a remote server. Any help is appreciated specially link to any documentation or samples.

Thanks

That's not possible - WS and FTP don't mix. If you want to FTP a file, use FTP; no need to complicate it using WS.

If the problem is to automatically start the transfer if the file is created, run a cron job that scans the directory periodically and handles a file once it's there.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
