Hello author,

Which JBI container is used as reference in the book. I have used ServiceMix before but found documentation to be bad.

We have used Open Source Apache ServiceMix as reference in this book.

The unique feature of this book is that, it is hands-on. It enables the reader to get started on ESB/ServiceMix, and then it walks the reader through lot many practical integration scenarios with increased complexity. Code is downloadable form net, and can be easily built and run using Ant tool. Almost all (17) chapters provide code samples and all the samples are tested with ServiceMix. Quite different from few other books in the related topics, you don't need a 4GB RAM or some heavy, vendor specific IDE/Workshops to run the samples. Instead, get set with the latest JDK and a text editor and few other lightweight frameworks including Tomcat and you are ready to go.

To learn more on ESB, JBI, ServiceMix & EIP, refer to the PACKT title "Service Oriented Java Business Integration":
