I would like to know where to find the API documentation for the KSSL API. How can I use the API's without having any documentation on it? Please help, I need it for my final year project.

I do not think KSSL have public API documentations. It is mainly used to provide Sun's reference implementation of HTTPS in MIDP VMs. It is not intended for public use although the authors did publish an article about it on Communications of ACM.
Anyway, what do you need to do? There are a number of third party tools that can do anything KSSL can do.

You can just use HTTPS to pass sensitive information right? Most MIDP implementation supports HTTPS these days.

It depends on exactly what you want to do. But, yes, HTTPS is enough for most purposes. When you shop on Amazon from a desktop computer, all the protection you have is HTTPS. Unless you have more specific requirements (such as secure XML support or digital signature support), HTTPS is more than enough.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
