Hi all,
When I started learning J2ME, a lot of people (including my manager) asked me one question:
How practical is J2ME?
And I was at a total loss to answer the question other than a vague reply that I just wanted to learn the technology. I tried to find the answer in almost all the available J2ME books, but other than the standard 'typical' application examples like Stock Quote, Games, etc. I could not find any realistic answer.
So here's my request to all of you who participate here.
Can you please reply to this post about what you think are practical/enterprise applications of J2ME (without violating any NDA, of course). It could be something you are doing or something you know your friend is doing....
I hope the replies to this post would serve as a good answer to anyone else confronted with this question in the future.
Thanks in advance for your help and support.
