i would like to know how to call the System.exit() in the Midle program.....

You can not call System.exit() in a MIDlet. MIDP 2.0 specifies that this will throw a SecurityException ... (MIDP 2.0 specs, page 42)

You must use MIDlet.notifyDestroyed() instead ...
