Dear all,

I want to run JVMs on small device which has 32MB RAM, 32-bits processor, StrongARM CPU and 24 flash for perminent storage. I need also to run Applet on that device, i've found J2ME which with Personal Profile and CDC will support the full AWT/ Applet and so on.

As I read the requirment for CDC, it needs up from 2MB for CDC itself, profile with some optinal packets.

But as I download J2ME and CDC to install, in README file, it needs 100MB availble free space after installation. So it seems it's not possible to use it on small device. I didn't install it on that device yet becaue first I need to be sure about its requirement.

Anyone has an idea or know about this, please help

thanks in advance,
moniphal
