hi, all! now i am a fresh tester about black box tesing, i am not good at programming. but i wanna be a white box testing engineer. so i wanna improve my programming at J2ME, could you give me a commend about how to do at the first step? such as what books should i read? and any others. thanks a lot
I suggest the Apress book on J2ME by Jonathan Knudsen. If you don't know Java, I suggest Head First Java. I recommend learning Java before learning J2ME.
i learned JAVA, but i am not good at it. i read the book " Core Java 2, Volume I - Fundamentals", but i do not continue to read the volume 2. so maybe i could read the J2ME.
I have to agree with Mark that a fairly strong basis in Java would help when you're learning Java ME - I don't know that I'd really want to jump into ME before feeling sufficiently confident with my Java skills - it's a matter of knowing how to walk before you try to run.
Though, once you know the standard edition, ME comes fairly quickly.
