A question is Jq+ mentioned that :
Since the value of byte is -128 to 127
Incase in a switch statement we assign a value of 128, jdk1.2 will not compile.
But this is not a case with jdk1.3 as it considers 128
So what are we supposed to do in the exam?

What do you mean in a switch statement you can assign 128 to a byte? Do you have sample code?
In *any* version of the jdk since version 1, trying to assign 128 to a byte variable will cause a compiler error.
