Hi,
Just wondering how accurate the information in the Java 2 Certification (RHE) is? I've seem to come across subjects in the chapters that say one thing, and then the Chapter-Test go against the subjects. Has anyone else run across these problems?
Travis
P.S.> I need serious help with Java Cert. My first mock test, I only got a 30%. Please help.

Sorry but i could not understand your first question. Someone may reply for that.
I would like to answer about your mock.
Don't worry, that's good score for the first time. Go around it, try to restudy and reclear the concepts you could not answered for and missed. And give it again and again. You will feel better than before.
Everyone face this problem but persistence and consistency is required to go till the border line of 100%.... and nothing else...
Wish you best luck for the exam

RHE is a book well known as Java 2 Certification Study Guide by Roberts, Heller and Ernest (RHE) (if I am not forgetting their name), and is the best book for certifications of Programmers and as well as Developers exams.
You can find the book review here:
Review by Angela Poynton, Sheriff of JavaRanch
More reviews about this book from the people at amazon.com:
Amzon.com details and review
This book has some errors for which you can find the errata online provided on the net:
Link for Errata of RHE
this is very necessary first you rectify all the errors mentioned in it and then you will find this book very useful.
Following is url about RHE from Maha Anna's page which is also useful:
Review by Maha Anna, Sheriff of JavaRanch
Hope it helps you and clarifies the questions about the book in your mind...
Wish you good luck

Thx for your reply rashid. In fact I had this book in hand for a while (never knew, people calling it RHE) and it's really a good book, with clear explanation!
