Thanks for the link Val.
What I wanted to know was, should I wait for the next edition of the exam(to be released in april/may), because of the changes in the exam format, or is second edition good enough?
Thanks again.

The current RHE covers the current exam. When are you planning to take the exam?

Hey guys, One of the revies in Bookpool.com suggests this, cause he observed the emphasis on Threads more on recent exams.
I have been coding in java for more than 2 years now, but started preparing for certification recently. So want to take my time.
Anyways, if you guys found the book good, thats all I need to know!

It's on Amazon's web site. "This item will be published on May 15, 2002."

I was aware that a new version of the book was to be released soon, but as anup was talking about the next version of the "exam" I thought he really meant to exam and not the book... Sorry

OOPS I see it...sorry It was abt the book, not the exam.
So all said and done, I didnt find "Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 study guide (Singress)" too useful (after taking the mocks). So RHE would be a good choice?
Thanks!
