Hi All,
How do you know that a variable or a value will
have a different memory address?
I asked because I want to know the result of
the use of "==" and equals() method. Since the
"==" operator checks the memory address and
equals() method checks the value.
Thank you in advance,
Ian

Ian,
Welcome to Javaranch
We'd like you to read the Javaranch Naming Policy and change your publicly displayed name (change it here) to comply with our unique rule. Thank you.
As far as your question goes, I'm not sure I know exactly what you're asking, but take a look at this and let me know if you still have questions.
